Tobacco Aged

This room became what I call a "Tobacco Aged" it looks almost as if the walls had been there for many years.

Ragging

Here is a ragged finish, Orange is my favorite color. This room ended up being a spray tanning room and the orange was perfect.

Linen

This is a linen look done for a local business

In progress; you can see the "panels" being completed
Finished

Aged Patina

Here's a library I did, the client wanted a aged look. I did a cross between a ragging and a wash, the colors were a earthy tobacco.

Bellagio again....

Here's a Bellagio in blue tones I did for a local buisness.

Bellagio

Seems to be a popular finish in my area right now, I get lots of requests for it. This is a Bellagio done in the front entry of a new construction. The base is a mahogany color, the client wanted a heavier top coat so not a lot of the red was coming through.

Bellagio Faux

I haven't been keeping up with logging my work here, so I wanted to update a bit. Here is a Bellagio Faux I did for a customer:

The "before" Paneled wall of BLEH!

The paneling was taken down and a Bellagio Faux was done, the other walls were painted in a straight complementary color

Unpacking and starting fresh....

I tucked this blog *and my others* away and had pretty much forgotten about them and recently decided to dust them off and really use them as a tool to build my business. Every little bit helps.

So continuing on from here. Onward and upward as they say.

Here is that long awaited picture of my finished studio that believe it or not I just got around to organizing and really cleaning up so I can actually use it, now I'm looking for that perfect little chandelier for the ceiling....

Then it will be getting TINO'S room done for him when he gets home from the military.

More work

This was a bathroom that I did in a barn remodeled into a arts and craft period home. The owner picked the colors, it came out so warm and rich. She accented this bathroom with sage green and black. Very nice!

Earlier Work

This is a wall I had done for a client with 1 basecoat color and 2 glazes using a cheesecloth ragging on technique. I used soft greens and warm yellows to achieve this.
